New The Legend of Tarzan Trailer, Poster Released

The upcoming Alexander Skarsgård starrer The Legend of Tarzan has got a new poster and trailer released by Warner Bros. Pictures. The movie will have Alexander play the iconic jungle hero with Margot Robbie as Jane Porter. The Legend of Tarzan has been directed by David Yates.

The trailer shows of some of the action sequences in the film with some tree swinging and chest beating. This time around, Tarzan will have to go back to his jungle hero roots from his modernised city lifestyle. The character was first introduced in the 1912 novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs.

The cast for The Legend of Tarzan will include Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson and Djimon Hounsou, along with Alexander and Margot. Produced by David Barron, Alan Riche and Jerry Weintraub, the movie will be released on July 1. The director is now busy with J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter spinoff, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
