New Suicide Squad International Trailer Released

Suicide Squad just released a brand new trailer and it’s full of suspenseful and hilarious moments from the upcoming flick! The trailer is pretty effective in that it manages to tease everything from the villains teasing to Batman's cameo. It makes for a pretty effective 90 second clip, and promises a film that's a whole lot of fun. The Suicide Squad movie is officially a PG-13 affair for "sequences of violence and action throughout, disturbing behavior, suggestive content and language.”  

The trailer explains: A government agency, led by Amanda Waller (played by Viola Davis), recruits a group of imprisoned supervillains to take on dangerous missions in exchange for clemency. We see the ragtag gang gleefully pick up their weapons and be given the rules, but then, it’s onto the action. “Let’s play,” says Deadshot (Will Smith) as a montage of combat scenes begins.

There had been some speculation that Suicide Squad could go the Deadpool route and chase an R-rating, although that was never the director or studio's intention. Directed by David Ayer, Suicide Squad also stars Jai Courtney, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Cara Delevingne, Adam Beach, Karen Fukuhara, Ike Barinholtz, and Common. The film hits theaters on August 5.
