New 'Suicide Squad' Photos Show Joker In All His Glory

The countdown to David Ayer’s Suicide Squad movie continues, with the release of a new consignment of pictures from the movie. The new pictures that have premiered in the latest issue of Total Film magazine, assembling a cast that boasts Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Cara Delevingne and Viola Davis.

The new images that come courtesy of Total Film Magazine’s upcoming issue, there were some choice quotes by folks in the know, like super-producer Charles Roven who revealed one of the threats, known as the Eyes of the Adversary, the Suicide Squad will be up against, “Let’s just say, when they’re called in to do this mission by Amanda [Waller], these are one of the things they encounter. They don’t know how they got here, but they’re weird and dangerous and yet they’re wearing military uniforms.”

As per the official synopsis Suicide Squad, “It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?” Suicide Squad will hit into theatres on August 5th, 2016.
