David Spade will be travelling through time in the new trailer of ‘Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser’. Spade will be reprising his role as Joe Dirt, 14 years after the first movie, which was released in 2001. This is the second trailer for the upcoming movie after April’s teaser.

The new trailer parodies the bench park scene from the film Forest Gump, with Joe Dirt (David Spade), narrating the story of his life to a stranger. The original movie, which was released on 11 April, 2001, saw Dirt travelling in search of his parents. The sequel will see him travelling back in time to 1965, after he gets caught in a tornado.

Apart from Jack Spade, the other cast member of the original film including Dennis Miller, Zander Kelly, Christopher Walken, Adam Beach, Brittany Daniel, Mark McGrath and Patrick Warburton, will also be returning for the sequel. Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser is scheduled to premiere on Crackle on July 16. The sequel is expected to do well at the box office after the original movie earned, $30 million at the box office worldwide.
