It sounds crazy if someone survives a government-endorsed teenage-murder contest in an ultramodern civilization. But the obvious is not always the same for all and such an exception is Katniss Everdeen, Suzanne Collins’ bestselling sci-fi novels’ star power. The powerful character of Katniss is pretty much evident from the new international trailer of Lionsgate’s version of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

In the trailer Katniss is seen quite busy as she deals with a growing insurgency as well as her association with the 75th-anniversary of the Hunger Games, which puts her against other survivors from the past times. The trailer consists of some clippings from the first cut and the previous winners of the Hunger Games contest also receive a brief introduction, whom we saw through the first-look posters during the Comic-Con. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, being directed by Francis Lawrence, features Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Donald Sutherland, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Elizabeth Banks and many others. The adaptation is scheduled to hit the theatres on November 22.
