New TV Spot For Star Wars: The Force Awakens Released

The highly anticipated film with its release less than a month away has got another TV spot that shows off some more footage from the film. The video was released by Lucasfilm and contains glimpses of sky battles and the new characters. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will hit the screens on December 18.

The seventh episode in the epic Star Wars franchise will follow the events of episode six Return of the Jedi and is placed 30 years ahead of the battle of Endor. Directed by J.J. Abrams, the movie will bring back Harrison Ford as Han Solo and Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia or, according to recent reports, General Leia. Mark Hamill will also be reprising his role as Luke Skywalker, though none of the videos have shown any footage of him.

The Force Awakens will also introduce never before seen characters like Finn, played by John Boyega, Rey played by Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren. The fans are extremely excited for the film and have shown their excitement through the overwhelming response to the pre-sales of the tickets. The Star Wars franchise will also be getting several new movies like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: Episode VIII as well as the Han Solo anthology movie.
