Nicole Kidman Too Busy For Wonder Woman

Actress Nicole Kidman may not feature in the next big movie planned by the DC Cinematic Universe. The Oscar-winning actress was in talks to play the role of a high-ranking Amazonian warrior in Wonder Woman. Nicole is passing on the role because of her busy schedule.

The 48-year-old actress was offered the role of Hippolyta- the queen of the Amazons and the mother of Wonder Woman.

As per reports, Robin Wright, known for her roles in The Princess Bride and Forrest Gump, will now be roped in for the role. Gal Gadot will be playing the lead role of the Amazonian princess in the movie and Chris Pine will have a double role. In the present, he will be playing Wonder Woman’s long-time love interest Steve Trevor and Trevor’s grandfather in the 1920s-set scenes.

Nicole has earlier starred in 1995’s Batman Forever alongside Val Kilmer and this would have been her second film with the DC property.
