Nicole Kidman Was Going To Permanently Quit Hollywood During Her Pregnancy

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman was last seen in the critically acclaimed movie Lion. The actress was even nominated for an Oscar for her role alongside Dev Patel in the 2016 biography. Currently, the actress is starring in the hit American drama sitcom ‘Big Little Lies’, where she is portraying the role of an abused wife.

Recently, the 50-year-old actress revealed that she had a thought of quitting Hollywood nearly a decade ago. The Moulin Rouge star was quoted as saying, “I think I was pregnant with (daughter) Sunday, and I was like, I'm going to give up acting, I'm done. It's too much”. Kidman further revealed that her mother Janelle convinced her to not give up her acting career.

The actress was quoted as saying, “She said, 'Keep your toe in the water,' because, she said, 'You're going to want that as you get older”. ‘Big Little Lies’ is scheduled to air in India on English television channels Star World and Star World HD in the month of September. Nicole will be also starring in the upcoming civil war-era drama, ‘The Beguiled’.
