Veteran music composer Ennio Morricone, who is nominated for Oscars 2016 under original score category, has revealed that he will team-up with Quentin Tarantino for another film. He further revealed that he has already discussed the new project with the director. Ennio Morricone has composed the score for Tarantino helmed ‘The Hateful Eight’.

“Tarantino has already told me that there will be a next movie that we are going to make together. I told him that in the future I would like to have much more time. I would like to start working with him even long before in order to have the time to work, to think about the music, and also to exchange more ideas with him about what I am going to score for him”, he said in a statement.

The 87-year-old composer has scored for over 500 films and TV shows. The Hateful Eight is his first western work in the past 35 years. For this year’s Oscars, Morricone has been pitted against Thomas Newman (Bridge of Spies), John Williams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Johann Johannsson (Sicario) and Carter Burwell (Carol) in the best original score category.
