Passengers Trailer Shows Chris Pratt, Jennifer Lawrence Suspended In Space

Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the new trailer for the upcoming sci-fi flick ‘Passengers’. The movie stars Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence in lead roles. The trailer reveals some plot details from the film and a few action sequences, explosions in space and beautiful computer generated graphics.

The movie focuses on two people, Jennifer and Chris, who wake from cryo sleep 90 years earlier than they were supposed to. Their spaceship, the Avalon, is on its 120 year journey with 5,259 people on board. Because of a malfunction in two of the sleep chambers, the duo is woken up before everyone else.

Directed by Morten Tyldum, the cast for ‘Passengers’ includes Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne, Andy Garcia and Aurora Perrineau. The script has been penned by Jon Spaihts and the project is being produced by Stephen Hamel, Michael Maher, Ori Marmur and Neal H. Moritz. The movie will be released on December 21.
