Patrick Wilson Roped In For Aquaman As Villain

EW has confirmed that Watchmen actor Patrick Wilson has been roped in to play Aquaman’s evil half-brother, Orm. The flick based on the King of the Seven Seas will have Jason Momoa play the titular character, Aquaman. The movie is being directed by James Wan, who has previously worked with Wilson on ‘The Conjuring 2’.

According to the comics, Orm, also known as Ocean Master, possesses similar powers as Aquaman. He is constantly trying to take over the throne that Aquaman sits on. It is quite interesting to note that Wilson dubbed the voice of the President in this year’s ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, the movie where Momoa made his first appearance as Aquaman.

Wilson will next be seen in ‘The Founder’ starring Michael Keaton. The movie, directed by John Lee Hancock, will be released on January 20. ‘Aquaman’, on the other hand, will hit the screens on October 5, 2018.
