Paul Wellers special tribute to The Beatles

To pay his special tribute to his inspiration, The Beatles, Modfather Paul Weller has planned to release a cover of a Beatles track on Sir Paul McCartney's 70th birthday. The British singer has recorded a cover of The Beatles' song Birthday and will release it on Monday (18.06.12) only as a download single and donate the funds collected from it to children's charity War Child. Weller said, ''It's my own little tribute to the man who, along with the rest of The Beatles, got me into music in the first place.'' The singer has also revealed his wish to work with Indie British singer Miles Kane. ''We've set aside a couple of dates when I'm going to do some writing with him. I like him, he's done well,'' The Jam singer said.
