    Pawn Sacrifice Trailer shows the petrifying side of chess

    The first trailer of the biopic ‘Pawn Sacrifice’, which is story about 1972 World Chess Championship, has been revealed by Bleecker Street. The trailer shows that a movie based on chess can be as thrilling as war-based or superhero-based movies. Watching the trailer, one would easily fall in love with Tobey Maguire, who is playing the lead character Bobby Fischer, the troubled public figure.

    The film is based on the true story of Bobby Fischer, the popular chess prodigy who challenges the Soviet chess master Boris Spassky. Caught between two superpowers, Fischer struggles with his controversial anti-American statements referred as his mental illness. It is story about a kid who captures the imagination of world with his intellect.

    With the trailer of the movie, the makers have also revealed the poster of the film. Both the poster and the trailer are intriguing and impressive. Directed by Edward Zwick, the film also stars Liev Schreiber as Boris Spassky and Lily Rabe as Joan Fischer.  Written by Steven Knight, the film is all set to release on September 18.
