If reports are to be believed then Hollywoods power couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, was also a target of the infamous British telephone hacking scandal which led to the closure of popular local tabloid News of the World, owned by Media mogul Rupert Murdoch. According to a London Independent report, the names of Brad and Jolie have been included in the list of "23 newsworthy individuals" alleged to have been targeted by two senior reporters of the tabloid, Neville Thurlbeck and James Weatherup. The two reporters along with six others were charged on Tuesday with "conspiring to intercept communications without lawful authority." The report added that Thurlbeck and Weatherup conspired to hack "the voicemail messages of persons associated with Angelina and Brad, who included Eunice Huthart", however it was not clear whether Jolie and Pitt's voicemail messages were also intercepted or not.
