    Pom Klementieff’s Mantis Will Return For ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

    Fans have been eagerly waiting for the sequel to the hit 2014 film ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ as it created a sensation among the superhero movie lovers. The sequel titled ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ will bring back the beloved rag tag group of outlaws including Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax and Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Racoon. One of the new characters present in the film is Mantis, played by Pom Klementieff. Now, the actress has revealed that she will also be present in the upcoming Avengers instalment, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.

    Pom shared that she arrived in Atlanta, Georgia to start filming ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. She posted a selfie on Instagram with ‘#infinitywar’ as the caption. The shoot commenced on January 23 with Directors Anthony and Joe Russo at the helm of affairs.

    Mantis was a former member of the Avengers. She first appeared in The Avengers #112, back in 1973 and was created by artist Don Heck and writer Steve Englehart. ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’, which will be the first cinematic appearance for the character, will be released on May 5. ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, on the other hand, will hit the screens on May 4, 2018.
