Prashant Rai To Play Yogi Now

Prashant Rai, the Indian American actor, has featured in several Hollywood films with the likes of George Clooney, Jamie Foxx and Megan Fox. The star will now be seen playing the character of a yogi, in an American film titled, 'Rockstar Yogi'. The film is produced by New York Pictures, USA and it will be shot in Rishikesh and New York.

The film will release in both English and Hindi. This flick will revolve around an American Rockstar who is involved with drugs, sex and guns. Eventually, the character gives up all addiction because of Yoga and meditation. Prashant is looking forward to portraying a character of contrasts as the actor has to essay both a rock star and a yogi.

Prashant opened up about his role and says, “I am excited to work in this film as we are trying to showcase a real big problem in America, drug and opioid addiction, which takes so many lives. We’re trying to put across the message that these problems can be resolved through the power of Yoga and meditation”. The film is expected to go on floors in December this year and it will hit the theatres sometime in 2019.
