Production Commences For Doctor Strange

Good news for Marvel fans has surfaced as Marvel Studios has announced that the production for the forthcoming flick Doctor Strange has begun and the cast has also been confirmed. It has been known since long that Benedict Cumberbatch will play the role of Doctor Strange. The recent set photos of the film also confirmed that Chiwetel Ejiofor will be playing Baron Mordo.

Doctor Strange cast also includes Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg and Mads Mikkelsen. The Ancient One will be portrayed by Constantine star Tilda Swinton. Jon Spaihts will be writing the script for the film directed by Scott Derrickson. Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, will be producing the film.

The movie will focus on Doctor Stephen Strange, a neurosurgeon, who got his magical powers following a car accident. Doctor Strange will hit the screens on November 4 next year. The movie will also have Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Charles Newirth, Stephen Broussard and Stan Lee as executive producers.
