Rebel Wilson Talks About Her Defamation Incident

Actress Rebel Wilson is known to have starred in movies such as Pitch Perfect series, How to be Single and Bridesmaids. The actress recently won a defamation case in which she was falsely accused as a fake and a liar by a chain of articles published by Bauer Media 2015. The actress recently stated that she was nearly doomed by this incident.

She was quoted as saying, “I went from this girl who has just worked her absolute a** off to get where she was to just being torn down in a second, in a 24-hour period. People were calling me a liar and a fake and for someone like me pride herself on being very candid and authentic; it was just probably the most devastating thing they could have said to me”. The actress further stated that she by her choice did not reveal her age and legally adopted the family nickname ‘Rebel’ in 2002.

The actress has received the highest defamation payout from ever in the Australian history. The actress further stated that she is ready to donate the damages payout by Bauer Media to the charities. The actress will be next seen in the third instalment of ‘Pitch Perfect’.
