    Leonardo DiCaprio starrer The Revenant has topped the weekend box office top five list with $16 million. Running on its fifth weekend, the movie has pooled in $223 million worldwide. The Revenant also won the best director and actor award at the Golden Globes. Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the seventh part in the epic Star Wars franchise, has moved up a spot with its $14 million sixth weekend.

    The Force Awakens has become the third highest grossing movie of all time with $1.9 billion worldwide. Kevin Hart and Ice Cube starrer Ride Along 2 grossed $12.9 million, running on its second weekend. The movie, developed over a budget of $40 million, has made $69 million worldwide.

    The fourth spot was claimed by the recently released Dirty Grandpa. The movie had an opening weekend of $11.5 million. William Brent Bell directorial The Boy made it to the top five with an opening weekend of $11.2 million. The movie was developed over a budget of just $10 million.
