    Richard Swift Passed Away At The Age Of 41

    Producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter Richard Swift has died at the age of 41. Swift passed away this morning in Tacoma, Washington. His bandmate Dan Auerbach confirmed this said happening on Instagram. A post on Swift's Facebook page read, “And all the angels sing 'Que Sera Sera’.

     “Today the world lost one of the most talented musicians I know. He’s now with his Mom and Sister. I will miss you my friend (sic),” Auerbach captioned on a picture of him and Swift. According to reports, last month Richard Swift was hospitalised due to a “serious medical condition”. Also, a GoFundMe page set up to raise money for his medical bills.

    Swift who was the touring bassist for the Black Keys in 2014 had also collaborated with Guster, Ray LaMontagne, Tennis and Sharon Van Etten, among other artists. While working at a studio called the Green Room in Huntington Beach, Swift made his first records—Walking Without Effort and The Novelist—during his off hours in the early 2000s.
