Veteran director Ridley Scott is prepping up for his upcoming film 'All the Money In the World' which will star actor Christopher Plummer in the lead role. Earlier, Ridley approached Kevin Spacey but later dropped him after he misbehaved. And now the director speaks up for his decision of reshooting the entire movie.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, director Scott said that it was a ‘simple decision’ to replace Spacey from the lead role. He further stated that he did not consider it an option to continue working with Kevin. "I sat and thought about it and realized, we cannot. You can't tolerate any kind of behaviour like that. And it will affect the film. We cannot let one person's action affect the good work of all these other people. It's that simple,” said the 79-year-old director.

The Martian director said that he would have continued working with Spacey had he called him and apologised for his wrongdoings.  "If he had called me and said, 'Hey, look, this is the way it is and I'm really sorry,' then I'd have handled it slightly differently. I'd have still done it. I would have said, 'Yes, thank you for calling, but I have to move on,'" noted Scott.

Michelle Williams, who is playing the female lead in the flick, also said that ‘started to feel better’ after hearing that Kevin is no longer a part of the movie.
