Robert Downey Jr. Reveals If Spider-Man Will Appear In Captain America: Civil War

After Sony and Marvel Studios have signed the licence sharing pact which allows Marvel to use Spider man in their films, rumours are flooding that this will happen in Captain America: Civil War. The rumours gained pace after Entertainment Weekly reported that a man wearing red-and-blue spider man-like costume has been spotted on the sets of the film. Robert Downey, Jr. has spilled the beans about the same recently.

While talking to ew.com, Downey, Jr. said, “(Don) Cheadle (War Machine) and I are just going, 'Wow, dude, look at this'. We're now like the old guard, and our storyline carries real weight just because of our history in the (canon). But we're also looking around like, 'Who thought that Falcon and Black Panther and Ant-Man and now Spider-Man...?' I mean it's like wow, this thing is just crazy”.

However, rumours about spider man on the sets of the film have been rubbished by producer Kevin Feig. “Listen, if there was a cosplayer running around that set when you were there, I don't know what to tell you”, he said. Helmed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the flick is scheduled to hit the theatres in May next year.
