Robert Downey Jr. roped in for next two of The Avengers series

Iron Man series star Robert Downey Jr. has been signed to wear the suite of Iron Man for The Avengers 2 and for The Avengers 3 as well. In his recent interviews Robert was found saying that he might not be seen as Iron Man again. It was reported that there are some issues with Robert as he was not satisfied with the amount that he was being offered with. But this deal between Robert and Marvel has put all the speculations on a halt.

After giving the biggest hit of this summer, Iron Man 3, Downey has bagged two more big films and is riding high on confidence. Iron Man 3’s performance made it the fifth highest-grossing flick of all-time with a huge worldwide collection of $1.2 billion. The Avengers went on to be a massive success under the direction of Joss Whedon and it seems that after signing Robert, the director is feeling much more confident, he said, “He is Iron Man in the way that Sean Connery was James Bond.”
