Robert Downey Jr.’s Sherlock Holmes 3 May Begin Filming This Year

Recently, American film producer Joel Silver confirmed that Sherlock Holmes 3 may go on floor this fall. The flick will be helmed by British filmmaker Guy Ritchie, who is popular for his crime films. Actor Robert Downey Jr. also disclosed that the movie could start filming this year during press tour for Captain America: Civil War.

Not much after the Iron Man actor broke the news, the producer confirmed about the shooting of the sequel stating, "It looks like it could happen this fall. Downey said he wants to do it. He's gotta launch into another 'Avengers' movie right after the new year. So we're trying to get it done”.

“We have a script that we like. Jude Law is available and Downey is available, and we're hoping we can get it done. If it works, great. If not, we'll do it another time. But it looks like it could happen now”, added Silver.
