Rosario Dawson To Voice Batgirl

Daredevil actress Rosario Dawson has been roped in to voice Batgirl in the forthcoming LEGO Batman movie. She will be playing the role of Barbara Gordon, Commissioner Gordon’s daughter. The movie will have Will Arnett reprise his role as the voice of Batman.

Rosario has previously been seen in movies like Men in Black II, Sin City and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. The LEGO movie will be directed by Chris McKay who was the animation supervisor for The LEGO movie. She has also been part of the animated movies Wonder Women and Justice League: Throne of Atlantis. The actress will voice the character Elaris in the big screen adaptation of the game Ratchet & Clank.

The script for the LEGO Batman Movie has been written by Seth Grahame-Smith. The movie will also have Michael Cera as the boy wonder Robin and Zach Galifianakis as The Joker. It will hit the theatres on May 26, 2017.
