    The popular director of commercials, Rupert Sanders, made a noted directorial debut in films with Snow White and the Huntsman last year. Sanders has been signed up to direct Napoleon, a Warner Bros.’ project telling the life-history of the iconic French military leader.

    The script has been penned by Jeremy Doner and the story of Napoleon Bonaparte will be narrated in a Scarface-like manner. Gianni Nunnari, the producer behind the swords-and-sandals war movie 300, will be producing Napoleon too. Sanders has been roped in for several projects following the success of his Snow White and the Huntsman which amassed $396.5 million worldwide. Sanders will be helming 90 Church reuniting with producer Joe Roth and Universal, and the film adaptation of Frederick Forsyth’s thriller The Kill List is also in the queue.
