Russell Loses 52 Pounds For Next

Stars keep losing and gaining weight for their movies. But, actor Russell Crowe is among the ones who do it more often. The 51-year-old had to gain weight for The Nice Guys, directed by Shane Black. The actor is working really hard to get in shape for his next flick. The Gladiator star has been jogging and biking and  has lost nearly 23 kgs till now.  

Russell told the media, “I was (268 pounds) the first week of August last year. I did a movie called The Nice Guys, so I wanted to be the physical juxtaposition of Ryan Gosling. I'm clawing my way back from that, so I'm about (216 pounds) at the moment”.

The Nice Guys is an upcoming mystery crime comedy. Crowe will be seen playing a detective, who lives in the 70’s arena. The actor was all in praise for co-star Ryan Gosling. He said, “That kid is a comic genius. He is great company, he is really smart, he loves what he does and he asks all the right questions. Working with him was such a treat”.
