Ryan Coogler To Direct Black Panther

It has been confirmed that Creed director Ryan Coogler will be directing the movie Black Panther. Creed, starring Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone, has performed very well at the box office. Black Panther will be part of Marvel’s Phase Three and the confirmation of Ryan as director has come from Kevin Feige himself.

Kevin said, “We are fortunate to have such an esteemed filmmaker join the Marvel family. The talents Ryan showcased in his first two films easily made him our top choice to direct ‘Black Panther.’  Many fans have waited a long time to see Black Panther in his own film, and with Ryan we know we’ve found the perfect director to bring T’Challa’s story to life”.

The character (Black Panther) will be played by Chadwick Boseman who is known for his role in the film Get On Up. The movie will be released on February 16, 2018. Joe Robert Cole will pen the script for Black Panther.
