Ryan Philippe Now Understands Teenage Girls

Ryan Philippe dated actress Reese Witherspoon in 1997 and married her after two years when she was six-months pregnant. The couple, after being married for eight years, legally got divorced in 2007. The ex-couple has two children together.

As the father of a 17-year-old daughter from Reese, Ryan recently said that he now understand teenage girls. He said, "Joey King, who plays my daughter, is the same age as my daughter in real life. So she and I could connect very easily because I obviously understand teenage girls. The real-life experience I have does allow for a lot more natural attachment to the role".

The actor also has a 13-year-old daughter with Witherspoon and a six-year-old daughter Kai with ex- girlfriend Alexis Knapp. Kai was born after Ryan broke up with Knapp and she revealed that she was pregnant when they broke up. On a related note, Reese is married to Jim Toth who is a talent agent and co-head of motion picture talent at the Creative Artists Agency.
