Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds recently took a class in CPR again, after quite some time. He took to Instagram and posted a picture with a caption that revealed the actor once saved his nephew’s life because he knew CPR. Raising awareness about the need to know the procedure, the actor thanked his teacher at Viva First Aid.

“Years ago, I took a CPR course thru the Red Cross and holy s***, I ended up saving my nephew’s life because I knew what to do! True story! Yesterday I took a refresher course — focusing on infant and toddler CPR”, the caption read. Ryan further went on to state that the course is “kinda, sorta fun” and only takes a few hours.

On the work front, Ryan will next be seen in ‘The Hitman's Bodyguard’ where he shares screen space with Samuel L. Jackson. The movie will be released on August 18. Meanwhile, the actor is also working on the sequel to his last year’s passion project, ‘Deadpool’, which will be released on June 1 next year.
