    James Bond films’ has got its director back. Yes, you heard it right,Sam Mendes, who had earlier refused to direct the 24thbond flick because of his other piling theatre projects, has confirmed to take on this venture now.Michael Lynton,CEO of Sony Corporation and chairman and CEO of MGM,Gary Barber made a public announcement yesterday that theSkyfall director will surely direct the untitled 24th James Bond film.

    That’s not it; even the dates to release the film in different countries have also been declared. October 23, 2015 is set for U.K. release and in U.S. theaters it will hit on November 6, 2015. Mendes made a statement saying, "I am very pleased that by giving me the time I need to honour all my theatre commitments, the producers have made it possible for me to direct Bond 24. I very much look forward to taking up the reins again.”

    Daniel Craig will reprise the role oficonic British secret agent, whileMichael G. WilsonandBarbara Broccoliwill be producing it.John Logan has been signed to give screen play for this project.Mendes, who started his career with American Beauty in 1999, has worked on award winning ventures. His last Skyfall has fetched over $1.1 billion worldwide and is currently supervising direction of Shakespeare'sKing Lear.
