    Sam Raimi Will Turn Director For Lionsgate and Lin-Manuel Miranda In Kingkiller Chronicle

    According to latest updates, Hollywood director Sam Raimi might be directing the adaptation of The Kingkiller Chronicle, which is based on the novels written by Pat Rothfuss. It has been heard that the actor is in negotiations to helm the project. The project will be made under the banner of Lionsgate and Lin-Manuel Miranda.



    Moreover, the scrip of the fil has been penned by Lindsey Beer, who earlier wrote the script of the film Transformers: The Last Knight. This film will be based on The Name of the Wind, which is the first book in Rothfuss’ series.



    However, Lionsgate had no comment on the Sam Raimi being involved for the project. Meanwhile, on the work front, Raimi has been pondering several projects currently in development, one of which includes the Skydance pic Bermuda Triangle. But sources close to the director said that this film will be his best upcoming project. Raimi is well known for Evil Dead series, Spider-Man and Oz the Great and Powerful.
