Sandra Bullock’s Miss Congeniality inspired from Ellen DeGeneres’ life
Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock delivered an all-time favourite comedy film in 2000 titled Miss Congeniality, which according to popular host Ellen DeGeneres, was based on the latter’s life.
The 56-year-old stand-up comedian revealed that Miss Congeniality’s writer noticed her when she was rehearsing for hosting in Emmy Awards ceremony and he immediately got motivated to make a film on her. The actress explained, "`Miss Congeniality` was written based on me. When I was getting ready to co-host the Emmys, the writer saw me (on TV) learning how to walk in a dress and heels.” She added further, "My stylist at the time - a man - was teaching me, and it was hilarious. The `Miss Congeniality` writer saw it and thought it was brilliant.”
