Scarlett reveals shooting schedule of ‘Ghost in the Shell’

It has finally been revealed that the shooting of ‘Ghost in the Shell’ will start in 2016. According to sources, Scarlett Johansson gave away the information that the shooting of this film is scheduled to begin in January or February 2016. This Rupert Sanders directorial is an adaptation of cyberpunk manga.

"It's happening. It will be shooting the beginning of next year, so I think we start production January or February and it's me and Rupert Sanders; and that's all I know", said the Film Independent Spirit Awards nominee. The 33-year-old actress will be playing the lead role in this movie.

Margot Robbie was the first choice for this role, but it was Johansson who finally got it. The feature film is about cybernetic human Major Kusanagi fighting criminals in the revolutionary cyberpunk world. It is to be released on April 14, 2017.
