    The sequel to Kingsman: The secret Service is in the making at 20th Century Fox, reported by TheWrap. No official announcement has been made by the studio yet, but work on the sequel has begun a source informed TheWrap. The movie will be helmed by Matthew Vaughn and will feature Collin Firth in the lead role.

    The original film was the big screen adaptation of the comic book The Secret Service, which was created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar. The movie was written by Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman. Apart from Firth, the movie also featured Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong, Taron Egerton and Michael Caine.

    The film focussed upon the recruitment process and training of secret agent Gary "Eggsy" Unwin. Eggsy then takes on a mission to deal with a threat from a wealthy eco-terrorist. The movie, which was released on January 29, was made on a production budget of $81 million. The film proved out to be a massive success at the box office success earning over $400 million worldwide, becoming Vaughn’s most successful movie to date.
