Seth Gordon in negotiations to helm Uncharted

Filmmaker Seth Gordon is in talks with Sony Pictures Entertainment to go behind the camera for the onscreen adaptation of the top-selling PlayStation videogame series, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. In past few years, directors David O. Russell and Neil Burger have parted their ways with Sony which has led the studio to look out for other options.

The film will be produced by Avi Arad, Charles Roven and Alex Gartner. The story of the movie will be about Nate Drake, a treasure hunter. His hunt for El Dorado turns out to be cut-throat when a rival huntsman joins the search. The game was loved by one and all and it would be interesting to see how the enthusiasts will go about its screen version.
