Shailene Woodley Turns Down Divergent TV Series

The Fault in our Stars actress Shailene Woodley has politely refused to be part of television series. As the final installment in the series was axed from theatres, the plan to turn it into a TV series was brought in by the makers. However, the star has turned down the offer as per reports.

She had featured in all three divergent films, but couldn’t agree on the potential success on the small screen, reported ew.com. “Last I heard they were trying to make it into a television show. I didn’t sign up to be in a television show, said Woodley.

She added, “Out of respect to the studio and everyone involved, they may have changed their mind and may be doing something different, but I’m not necessarily interested in doing a television show”. The actress was in India couple of months before and toured Dharamsala, Shimla and McLeod Ganj.
