A Sign Of Light For Kanye In His Time Of Trouble

About a week ago, rapper Kanye West revealed through a twitter post that he was drowning in a personal debt of $53 million.

Following the post was another, asking for money from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. Kanye asked Mark to invest $1 billion in his ideas.

Now, looks like fans have come to Kanye’s rescue. Jeremy Piatt, one of Kanye’s many fans has started a campaign, a GoFundMe page, for the artist.

Kanye stated that the reason for his debt was him pursuing his dreams in the fashion industry. Back in 2009, Kanye started his clothing line named Pastelle. After seven months, the project went in the gutters. Not giving up, he reached for a high-end women’s-wear line named Kanye West in 2011. This attempt also failed and the clothing did not even make it to stores. Kanye has also been attached with Nike and Adidas over the years, though these projects could not help him recover, but cost him even more.

With the big shots nowhere to be seen, Jeremy Piatt has taken the initiative to raise money for Kanye. On the page, Jeremy states, “We must open our hearts and wallets for Kanye today. Sure he is personally rich and can buy furs and houses for his family, but without our help, the true genius of Kanye West can't be realized”. As of now, the page has pooled in $2,200 in just two days.

On the one hand, Kanye is asking for money to repay his debt while simultaneously stating “Yes I am personally rich and I can buy furs and houses for my family but I need access to more money in order to bring more beautiful ideas to the world”. What do you think about helping the rapper out?
