    Simon Beaufoy penned the script of the Academy Award winning movie Slumdog Millionaire. The British scriptwriter is all set to write another amazing script. Simon will be preparing a script which will be an on-screen adaptation of the novel ‘In the Skin of a Lion’.

    The novel was written by Michael Ondaatje in 1987. The storyline of the novel places an emphasis on romance and class-conflict. The novel will be based on the situation revolving around immigrants. Simon is renowned for his impeccable pieces of work which include scripts of movies such as 127 Hours, The Full Monty, Salmon Fishing In The Yemen and Everest.
       

    Previously, author Michael Ondaatje’s novel ‘The English Patient’ has also been brought onto the silver screen in the form of movie in 1996. The 1996 movie won nine Oscars for categories that include best picture, best director and best supporting actress.
