    Solo Spider-Man Film Titled Spider-Man: Homecoming

    At this years CinemaCon, young actor Tom Holland announced that the solo Spider-Man film will be titled 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'. The movie will be released on July 7 next year and will be directed by Jon Watts. Tom will be making an appearance as the web slinger in the upcoming film 'Captain America: Civil War'.

    At the event held in Las Vegas, the actor spoke to the crowd about the film and said, “It really is a homecoming, because, throughout the movie, Peter is trying to find out who he is and where he belongs in this world”. President of Marvel, Kevin Feige recently revealed that since Spider-Man is now part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the other characters from the MCU might be present in the solo Spider-Man film as well. It has also been reported that Michael Keaton is in talks to play the villain in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'.

    The script for the film is written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. Tom Holland will be sharing screen space with Zendaya who plays Michelle in the film. The actress is known from her roles in TV shows like ‘Shake It Up’, ‘K.C. Undercover’ and the film ‘Frenemies’.
