A Star is Born: Gaga Talks About Instant Connect With Cooper

As A Star is Born is set to release on October 5, the excitement around it seems to be building up with each passing day. The movie has already received a lot of appreciation at its premiere in the Venice Film Festival and the Toronto Film Festival and is all set to open the Tokyo International Film Festival too. Recently, Bradley Cooper, who is making his directorial debut, and Lady Gaga, who is making her Hollywood debut, shared their experiences of working with each other with E! Online.

Cooper told, "The thing that I was very aware of from the beginning and I cherish even to this day is how much we both had at stake because it was a first for both of us. We knew that we were really going to have to rely on each other because it's scary putting yourself out there to this degree."

Further, Lady Gaga mentioned that her instant connection with Bradley and his acting tips helped to discover the artist in her. She said, "I feel honestly completely humbled and grateful to be here sitting next to him," adding, "In a lot of ways I feel like Bradley unveiled me. It was his idea to strip away the makeup, to go back to my natural hair and for this to be Ally's character."

A Star is Born is apparently the remake of a 1937 film with the same title. The story is about two artists who fall in love with each other. Bradley Cooper plays Jackson Maine, a rockstar with substance addiction, who helps Ally (played by Gaga) - a struggling actress. Fans just can wait to see how charming Bradley and Gaga look as a couple on the silver screen.
