Stephanie Sigman joins Spectre as new Bond girl

Columbia Pictures recently announced that actress Stephanie Sigman will star alongside Daniel Craig in the 24th James Bond film. The 28-year-old will play a character named ‘Estrella,’ with Daniel Craig as Bond. Stephanie Sigman will become the first ever Mexican Bond girl.

Sigman has previously starred in the Mexican film Miss Bala about a beauty queen involved in drug trafficking. She also appears in FX’s The Bridge. British actor Daniel Craig will be returning for his fourth run as British super spy James Bond; a role in which he took up in Casino Royale back in 2006. Christopher Waltz, Dave Bautista and Andrew Scott will also appear in Spectre. Spectre is scheduled to be released on November 6, 2015.
