Steven Caple Jr. To Helm 'Creed 2'

As it is known, the talks of the sequel of the Rocky franchise spinoff ‘Creed’ were under works. The 2015 movie revolved around the son of heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, Adonis Johnson, who seeks mentorship from Rocky Balboa. The movie was helmed by Ryan Coogler, who is currently helming the upcoming superhero movie ‘ Black Panther’.

The makers of the sequel have roped in Steven Caple Jr. to helm the sequel of the movie. According to sources, ‘Creed 2’ will be going on the floors in March, 2018. Ryan Coogler is rumoured to be the executive producer of the upcoming sequel. The screenplay of ‘Creed 2’ will be penned by Sylvester Stallone and Cheo Hodari Coker .

The Stallone and Michael B. Jordan starrer ‘Creed 2’ is bankrolled by Irwin Winkler, Charles Winkler, William Chartoff, David Winkler, and Kevin King-Templeton. The movie is slated to release on November 21, 2018.
