    Steven Spielberg to fulfill Stanley Kubrick’s dream project Napoleon Biopic


    Oscar winning director, Steven Spielberg, will now be developing a screenplay for Stanley’s incomplete project,Napoleon biopic. The script was written in 1961 by filmmaker Stanley, and was left undone because of the budget and production challenges. Spielberg confirmed the news to a French TV network, "I've been developing a Stanley Kubrick screenplay for a miniseries -- not for a motion picture -- about the life of Napoleon".

    The66-year-old,Steven,made a filmA.I. Artificial Intelligence(2001) which was started by the late director Kubrick, who was known for obsessive perfectionism in his films. In 1971, Stanley commented about his project, "It’s impossible to tell you what I’m going to do except to say that I expect to make the best movie ever made."

    Spielberg paid his tribute to Kubrick at the LACMA Art and Film Gala in his retrospective exhibition which was held on October 27 last year.
