Surf’s Up 2: Wavemania Gets New Trailer

The hit 2007 animated flick, ‘Surf’s Up’ will be getting a much awaited sequel, and a new trailer for the second instalment was recently released by Sony Pictures Animation and WWE Studios. The trailer shows of character that have been voiced by WWE wrestlers including John Cena, The Undertaker and Triple H. The movie will be released early in 2017.

The trailer shares some plot details from the sequel showing the lead character Cody Maverick. He joins the Hand 5 to accompany them on their journey to find the biggest waves in the world. The members of the Hang 5 have been voiced by John Cena, The Undertaker, Triple H, WWE Diva Paige and Mr. McMahon.

Directed by debutant Henry Yu, ‘Surf’s Up 2: Wavemania’ features animation by Rainmaker Entertainment Inc. The movie is being produced by Michelle Wong. The screenplay is being written by Abdul Williams of ‘Lottery Ticket’ fame.
