Sylvester Stallone To Direct And Produce ‘Creed 2’

Actor Sylvester Stallone has said that he will be directing the forthcoming sports drama film 'Creed 2', which is a sequel to 2015 film ‘Creed’. He took to Instagram to announce about the same. Apart from directing, the actor will also produce the flick.

Michael B. Jordan returns back as Adonis Johnson, son of the late Apollo Creed in the sequel. Stallone also shared a photograph of himself standing with Michael. He wrote, "Looking forward to directing and producing the incredibly talented Michael B Jordan in 'Creed 2' next year... One more round."

'Creed’ was directed by Ryan Coogler. It served both a spin-off as well as a sequel to Stallone's ' Rocky ' film series. Stallone played the role of Rocky Balbo which even fetched him an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He also won the Golden Globe Award in the same category. Stallone also announced that the movie will go on floors next year.
