Take A Look At Caesar In the New War for the Planet of the Apes Clip

The New York Comic Con digital billboard has brought a new short clip for the upcoming Planet of the Apes instalment, ‘War for the Planet of the Apes’. It shows Caesar declaring war on the humans. The movie is being directed by Matt Reeves and will hit the screens on July 14 next year.

The clip shows a close up of Caesar coming to life with the settling snow. The narration commences with Caesar saying, “You must go.. before fighting begins. I’m sorry.. War has begun”. The deep voice of the leader of the apes is sure to give you chills.

Andy Serkis will be playing the role of Caesar with Woody Harrelson portraying the Colonel. The cast also includes Steve Zahn, Gabriel Chavarria and Judy Greer. ‘War for the Planet of the Apes’ will be the third film in the Planet of the Apes reboot series. At the movie’s panel at Comic Con, where the footage was first shown, Andy and director Matt were present, sharing some insight about the project.
