Take A Look At Denzel And Viola In The New Fences Poster

The upcoming film ‘Fences’, starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis, has got a new poster, released by Paramount Pictures. It has a close up of the duo in black and white. The movie will be Denzel’s third big screen directorial venture after ‘The Great Debaters’ (2007) and ‘Antwone Fisher’ (2002).

The movie tells the story of an African American father who has to deal with race issues in the United States. He is trying to raise a family in an era where coloured people are not treated equally. It is set in the 1950s and is based on an award winning play by August Wilson. August has written the screenplay for the cinematic adaptation as well.

The cast for ‘Fences’ includes Jovan Adepo, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Mykelti Williamson and Russell Hornsby. The project is being produced by Todd Black and Scott Rudin, alongside Denzel. ‘Fences’ will hit the screens on December 25. The actor was last seen in the recently released ‘The Magnificent Seven’.
