    The Much awaited Trailer for Terminator-Dark Fate the latest installment in the Terminator franchise and a direct sequel to Terminator 2 ignoring the rest of the movies in the franchise has finally been released. In 2019 the movie rights reverted back to its creator James Cameron, the director was quick to announce that a new movie was in the works and that it would ignore all the movies after the Judgment day and Tim Miller of Deadpool fame would direct.

     Not long after much to the delight of fans both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton would reprise their roles as The T-800 and Sarah Conner respectively and that the franchise would introduce a younger generation of actors to carry on the franchise, so let's see what the trailer holds in store.

    The Trailer starts off with Mackenzie Davis who plays a human-machine hybrid(Grace) who is charged with protecting nine-year-old Daniella "Dani" Ramos who is being hunted down a new and advanced terminator Rev-9 played by Gabriel Luna. The scene appears to be a call back to Terminator 2 where John Conner and the T-800 were chased along a highway by the T-1000.

    Despite their best efforts the Rev-9 seems near unstoppable having some of the same qualities of the T-1000 but also the ability to create a clone of itself making it the most powerful Terminator ever seen in the franchise.

    Luckily for our heroes, Sarah Conner arrives on the scene with an epic intro and buys them enough time to make their escape. Linda Hamilton is reprising her iconic role after a gap of 28 years.

    Sarah Conner takes the group far away from the city to meet up with an old alley the T-800 himself, the terminator appears older which makes sense as it is a machine covered in living human tissue, Arnold Schwarzenegger only has a brief appearance in the trailer which is a good thing as it makes it clear that the makers of the movie don't want to give away too much about his role.

    We also get a brief underwater fight scene with what appears to be the T-800 fighting the Rev-9, John Conner does not make an appearance in the trailer which makes us wonder about the fate of humanity's future hero.

    The trailer ends with a great showdown between Grace and Rev-9 in a hardware store with Grace using an ax to tear apart her opponent but will it be enough against such a powerful enemy remains to be seen.

    The first trailer for Terminator-DarK Fate manages to get you hyped for the movie while thankfully not giving away the too much about the plot, hopefully, this movie will be a worthy sequel to the iconic Terminator 2 - Judgement Day.
