Robert Pattinson rose to fame and got widespread recognition with his role as vampire Edward Cullen in the 'Twilight' franchise. Before being cast as a vampire, the actor played Cedric Diggory in ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’. Now, in a shocking revelation, the actor revealed that he was almost fired from the romance fantasy film.

The reason for him being almost fired was his rebellious trait. However, his agent used to calm him down. He said, "I didn't have to kiss anybody's (bu**) the entire time. I don't think I did, anyway". The actor also said that doing 'Twilight' was an "amazing luck, as well, to just have fallen into it with the group of people (he) worked with on it".

As the actor has done a series of five romance fantasy films, people keep associating him with his role in 'Twilight'. About this, the actor said, "I think one of the best things, basically, about being a bit of a sellout, is if you've done five movies in a series, you've had to accept some responsibility for playing the same character".
